Foraging is becoming a lost art, but it is something every human should know how to do. Modern day is causing the knowledge we inherited from our ancestors to be forgotten. By learning to forage privately with an expert forager, you can ensure these skills and vital knowledge is being passed on on your terms.
You can tailor what you’d like to learn about completely. Don’t like mushrooms? Sure - we won’t forage for them! Sick of wild garlic? There are other delicious, pungent herbs to discover instead!
Collective harvesting and having the peace of mind that a professional is by your side will result in a large bounty of wild food for you to take home and use in your meals. With their expertise on preparation, flavour combinations and preservation techniques, you’ll have all the knowledge you’ll need to be a confident forager in no time.

From £25 per hour, in ever-changing locations to match the season, collect and learn about the wild world around you. Spend your time learning whatever you want about the wild world, collect your foraged food for the day or week, as well as get recipe ideas on how to use them. Become a confident forager.

Foraging slots available from:
Monday-Friday: 8 am — 8 pm
Select Saturdays: 3 pm — 6 pm
Select Sundays: 2 pm — 4 pm
Seasonal timings vary due to light availability.
We recommend a two hour slot for foraging as standard to get the most out of collecting and learning but one hour slots are available for those pressed for time or wanting a taster.

The locations are dotted around the South Downs and Surrey Hills, exact locations can be decided upon booking or we can travel to your location.

Pay as you go for £35 per hour or book a block of ten at £250 (£25 per hour). Payment can be made in person via cash or card, or you can pre book via the link above.

Discounts on two-person bookings. Bring a friend or partner and save £10 per hour.
