The secrets of nature will be revealed with our expert leaders, comprised of foragers and scientists, giving unique perspectives on the folklore, history, uses and medicinal nature of the plants you see. Gain a newfound appreciation for your environment by learning how to identify edible plants, fungi and berries on your own, and how to incorporate them into your routines.

No walk you take will ever be the same again.

There will be a glass of fizz provided, but no food will be available on these courses, so please eat beforehand or bring food with you.

Plan for the evening:

Please arrive 10 minutes before the start time to allow for introductions and get settled. The walk will begin with a safety talk and overview, during which you can have any questions answered before we start. We will then head out into the South Downs woodlands to bathe in nature and learn about seasonal fungi, plants, berries and trees, learning how to identify them from their toxic lookalikes, their properties, edibility, uses and more.

Then you can change into your swimwear to relax and have a guided session in our traditional wood-fired sauna. Full facilities are available with a changing room, showers, and toilets. Robes and sauna hats are provided but please bring your own towels.

We will end the evening watching the sunset with a glass of foraged iced tea or fizz.
