Location: Queen Elizabeth Country Park, Petersfield
Be a part of this exciting 2-in-1 workshop experience day with a full foraging course followed by a guided art class, learning how to draw and catalog the amazing plants and fungi you have found.
Start the day with Megan and Tim, our expert foragers and scientists, learning how to identify the seasonal delights of spring, all about their edibility and the folklore and myths associated with them. They will teach you what facts and information are important to include when cataloging your findings and help you collect the plants you wish to keep.
Then we will sit down for a cup of wild, foraged tea while Leticia, a professional artist and art teacher, will guide you in how to draw/paint the samples and plants. She will teach you which parts of the plants to take note of, guiding you in accessing your artists' eye, and how to apply it onto the surface of your new field book.
All supplies including notebooks and pencils are provided.
